Hi, folks!!

I would like to tell you about my tea bags' collection. I began to collect tea envelopes 5 years ago, almost by chance, and what at first seemed to be a crazy hobby became an interesting amusement that I share -now- with other collectionists.

To get tea envelopes has its difficulties because people don't understand what they are, and it's like something rare and new among the traditional collections of stamps, cans of beverages o telephone cards.

My collection has tea envelopes from different countries, with original drawings and designs and strange letters.

Black tea, yerba mate, green tea, herbal, scented... any tea packed in tea bags can be part of my collection. There's a great variety of drawings and trade marks.

Now about me: I'm Marcelo L. Strauch, 40, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I'm married to Ruth, and I'm a photographer.

We were very lucky to have the possibility to travel abroad, and precisely from one of those trips, we've kept a beautiful tea envelope that we bought in England, which motivated this collection.
